This type of lamp is having different color temperature from the other lamp types. Its color temperature is about 6000K, gives us the clear daylight vision. HID light color temperature is divided into several types.

The lowest color temperature is giving an intense yellow fluorescence, above the intense yellow, we can find extreme and diamond white, iceberg and brilliant blue, and the highest color temperature, about 12000K is violet purple. Even though HID lamps are giving so much brighter color, but when compared with halogen lamp, HID lamp consume less energy, so we can get double benefits. HID light is so bright, but it does not give a blinding effect for the other drivers.
